Refund policy


OVERVIEW

At Shirley’s Chemical Company, your satisfaction is important to us. Because our products are chemical-based and intended for cleaning and professional use, we follow specific safety and return guidelines. Please read the following policy carefully before making a purchase.

SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

We accept returns only for unopened, unused products that are still in their original condition and packaging.

To be eligible:


  • Your item must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Your item must be in the same condition as received, unused, and sealed.
  • You must provide proof of purchase (receipt or order number).

Due to health, safety, and contamination risks, we cannot accept returns on opened, used, or partially used chemical products.

SECTION 2 – NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are final sale and non-returnable:


  • Opened or used cleaning products.
  • Items purchased as part of a bundle or promotional set.
  • Gift cards and digital products.
  • Clearance or discounted items marked “final sale.”

SECTION 3 – DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at sales@shirleychemicalco.com with your order number and photos of the issue.


Once reviewed, we will:


  • Ship a replacement product at no additional charge, or
  • Issue a full refund (including shipping) if a replacement cannot be provided.

SECTION 4 – RETURN PROCESS

To start a return, please email sales@shirleychemicalco.com with your order number and reason for return.

If your return is approved:


  • You’ll receive a confirmation email with instructions and our return shipping address.
  • Unless the item was defective or damaged upon arrival, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email that we’ve received it and let you know whether your refund has been approved.


SECTION 5 – REFUNDS

 

 

 

 

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection.

 

Please note:


  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, except for defective or incorrect items.
  • Depending on your bank or credit card provider, the refund may take additional time to appear on your statement.

SECTION 6 – EXCHANGES

 

 

 

 

We currently only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us at sales@shirleychemicalco.com with your order details and photos of the issue.
